The Cleveland Indians welcome you to Progressive Field, home of the Tribe.

This Fan Guide is designed to inform you of all that the Cleveland Indians and Progressive Field have to offer for the current season. The information is presented in alphabetical order for your ease of use. Enjoy the season!

  • A

    Accessible Seating
    Accessible seating must be requested at the time or purchase and is subject to availability. Wheelchair spaces are available throughout the Ballpark. All of these spaces have combination of companion seating adjacent to the wheelchair space. Wheelchairs are available at all gates on a first come, first serve basis. They are provided as transportation to guests with disabilities or limited mobility and may not be kept during the ballgame.
    Seats at the end of the row that do not have an armrest on the side nearest the steps provide easy access for those guests with mobility impairments and are available at the following locations: Field Box, Lower Box, View Box, Lower Reserved, Mezzanine, Bleachers, Upper Box, Upper Reserved and Upper Reserved General Admission.
    Seats for persons with visual impairments are available behind the screened area of the Ballpark.

    Advance Ticket Sales (based on availability)
    Purchase in person at the Indians Main Ticket Office, adjacent to Gate A on Ontario Street or any Team Shop. Purchase tickets to future home games inside the Ballpark at the advance ticket windows in Section 153 of the Main Concourse.

    Anthem Singers
    To submit your application to perform the National Anthem at Progressive Field, please send CD or DVD of you / your group performing the National Anthem to:

    ATM
    ATMs are located in Sections 117, 159, 178, and 550. If you have any problems with transactions, please call the number on the ATM.

    Autographs
    Fans may request player autographs in Sections 125-134 and 169-175 up to 45 minutes before game time. Postgame, Fans can request player autographs at the Player Lot located on the corner of East 9th and Carnegie. Fans are not guaranteed autographs during these times, and all signings are up to player discretion.

    Babies / Toddlers Tickets
    Children who have not yet reached their 3rd birthday do not need a ticket to enter Progressive Field. They must be seated on a parent or guardian's lap.

    Ballpark Greeting Card / Wedding Proposals
    Celebrating a birthday or anniversary? Send a special greeting with a Ballpark Greeting Card, where the recipient's name will appear on the scoreboard and will receive a 5x7 photo.
    Are you thinking of proposing to the special Tribe Fan in your life? Make the big moment even more memorable with the Indians proposal package! We'll include a DVD of the big moment and a little help from Slider. After your sweetie says yes, you can be whisked away to the Terrace Club where the two of you will enjoy a dinner for two and a special champagne toast. Call 216-420-HITS for details.

    Beer & Alcohol
    No alcohol or illegal drugs may be brought into the gates. Anyone seen breaking the law will be subject to immediate ejection and criminal prosecution. There is a two (2) drink maximum limit per person per transaction. With the exception of the Collection Auto Club, Club Lounge and Terrace Club, all beer and alcohol sales conclude after the end of the 7th inning or three (3) hours after the scheduled first pitch. Sales can be stopped at any time at the discretion of management. There is a two (2) drink maximum limit per person per transaction at the concession stands when vended in the in the stands.

    Bottled Water Policy
    Fans entering Progressive Field will be allowed to bring a single, factory sealed bottle of water that is 20oz. or less through the gates

    Budweiser Patio
    An exclusive area in the right field corner of the Ballpark, featuring a combination of traditional ballpark and table top seating, an upscale menu, and premium amenities including a private bar and flat screen TVs. Includes all you can eat meal service that will end one hour after the scheduled start of the game. Call 216-420-HITS for details.

    Children's Seat Location Wristbands
    Young children may obtain a free ID wristband personalized with their seat location. Wristbands  are available for all home games at Fan Services, Section 153 in the Main Concourse and Section 550 of the Upper Concourse.

    Collection Auto Group Club
    This 5,000-square foot private climate controlled lounge that encompasses a space formerly home to 10 suites has 120 balcony seats and features 20 high-definition TVs, extra-wide plush seating, seat-side tables, deluxe drink and dining rails, and a variety menu and full bar. There is also a dedicated Concierge outside Club.
    The Collection Auto Club features breathtaking views of the on-field action, similar vantage point as Indians radio and television personalities. Members will have unique live viewing access into the adjacent FOX SportsTime Ohio pregame and post-game broadcast shows.
    Membership to the Collection Auto Club includes reserved premium parking spaces in the Gateway East Garage, unparalleled food offerings, inclusive wine and beer and comfortable indoor seating providing members the unique opportunity to enjoy their meals while experiencing an open air view of the on-field game action.
    Members have option to purchase additional patio seat tickets days of game by contacting Premium Sales Accountant Executive.

    Concealed Weapons
    Unless Specifically Authorized by Management, no weapons, concealed or otherwise, are permitted into the Ballpark.

    Concierge Desk
    Located at the Time Warner Cable Club Lounge in the Carnegie Lobby

    Concessions
    Delaware North SportService, the exclusive concessionaire at the Ballpark, provides a diverse menu throughout the Ballpark. Concessions "maps" can be found inside the Batter Up publication handed out at the gates.

    Designated Driver
    Designated Drivers may sign up at any Fan Services or the Concierge Desk through the third (3rd) inning to receive a coupon for a free small Pepsi product and be entered to win a prize pack courtesy of Budweiser.

    Donation Policy
    Non-profit agencies and schools requesting a donation for fundraising should visit Community page at Indians.com to submit a donation request.

    Drinking Fountain
    Water fountains are available at Sections 117, 119, 129, 142, 303, 316, 504, 514, 528, 533, 558, 564, and 577

    Elevators
    The Ontario elevators, serving all levels of the Ballpark, are located at Section 159 and Section 559.
    The Carnegie elevators, available for Premium Seating and members of the Press only, are located at Section 149.
    The East 9th elevators at Section 119 serve the levels from the Main Concourse to Press level, including Kids Clubhouse on Club level.

    Emergency Procedures
    In the event of an emergency situation which causes a delay of the game or an evacuation of the Ballpark, please direct your attention to the scoreboard and listen for announcements on the PA system. Staff and Security will also provide direction.

    Escalators
    The Ontario Section 162 escalator services the Premium Club Level and Upper Concourse. The East 9th Section 113 escalator services the Mezzanine and Upper Concourse. Escalators are shut down for operation at last out. Escalators will stay in operation for Kids Run the Bases on Sunday and fireworks nights. For safety reasons, escalators never operate in down mode.

    Fan Advisory Council
    The Fan Advisory Council is a group that consists of both Season Ticket Holders and single game ticket purchasers that meets six times per year and advises the Indians on how well we serve our customers. The group consists of 10 core members and two rotating members that are selected from prior registration. The Council discusses all topics from fan entertainment to ticket purchasing to retail concession offerings.

    Fan Photos
    Throughout the game photographers in white polo shirts will be taking photos of fans. Photos can be viewed and purchased at Fan Photo kiosks during the game or at Indians.com.

    Fan Services
    Fan services booths are located at Section 153 and 550 (open all game) and Section 107 and Section 176 (Open gates open until the end of the 3rd inning).

    Field Box Patio
    The Field Box Patio is located in Field Box Section 151 and is a new area that can accommodate up to 32 individuals. There are four (4) tiers and have eight (8) patio seats each. All tiers have half-circle tables and oversized patio chairs that swivel. This area can be sold to both groups and single game buyers. Call 216-420-HITS for details. In game upgrades to the Field Box Patio are available subject to availability at Section 153 ticket window.

    Fireworks Evacuation
    These seating areas must be evacuated before the start of postgame Indians fireworks shows: Homerun Porch, Bleachers, Heritage Park, Market Pavilion, Rigid Jobsite Bar, Sections 101-103, 170-179, 303-304, 504, 570-577. Additional sections may also be evacuated depending on weather conditions.

    First Aid
    Cleveland Clinic staffed First Aid rooms are located at Sections 119 and 551

    Food Fans may bring food into the gates in soft-sided coolers or bags that fit within the regulated 16"x16"x8" size restrictions. In addition, single serving juice boxes and factory sealed bottles of water are permitted. Food and food containers are subject to inspection.

    For 7:05pm, 7:15pm and 1:05pm Sunday games the ballpark will open early for batting practice viewing and access to Kids Clubhouse. Entry for the early opening is Gate C and the East Pedestrian Bridge from the Gateway East Garage.
    For 7:05pm and 7:15pm games, the 5:30pm early access for the Premium Seating areas is available at Gate C, East Pedestrian Bridge, West Pedestrian Bridge, and the Larry Doby Way Terrace Club Lobby entrance.

    Gateway East Parking Garage
    The Gateway East Parking Garage is located between Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena. Enter off Huron Road, Eagle Avenue off Ontario Street, or Bolivar Road off East 9th Street. Standard Parking operates the garage. Questions concerning the policies of Gateway East Garage please contact the Garage office at 216.781.1682. Parking spaces for guests with disabilities are available on a first come, first served basis.

    Heavy Hitters Club
    The Cleveland Indians are searching for individuals that may have interest in joining our outside Sales Club - The Heavy Hitters.

    This group of individuals takes the message of Indians tickets, events and outings to their community and is rewarded with very cool perks. Some of these include a trip to Spring Training for you and a guest, a road trip with the team and private lunches with a member of the coaching staff. Our message is simple - bring us a strong lead, we close the lead for you and you receive the rewards. The Heavy Hitter Club has a main function; having fun and getting the word out about what the Cleveland Indians have to offer. Members then receive the rewards and incentives for the efforts. There is no cost to become a Heavy Hitter, we pay all of costs associated with the club including office supplies, mailings and flyers to promote your sales incentives.     Heritage Park
    Located in the center field area, Heritage Park is available to fans before, during, and after games, as well as available for special events throughout the season. The two-tiered monument park setting honors the greatest names in club history and plaques celebrating the Indians' most memorable moments. Heritage Park also honors the Top 100 Indians roster as selected as part of the teams 100th Anniversary Celebration in 2001.

    High Achievers Kids Club
    High Achievers is a FREE program for students (K-12th grade) where they can earn FREE Indians game tickets for doing well in school. High Achiever members will receive tickets and prizes for submitting their good grades and reading at least three books.     Fans catching a home run ball on the fly can receive an honorary contract from the Indians. Game Day Staff will be watching for catches.

    Kids Clubhouse
    Kids Clubhouse is located on the Mezzanine and features kid oriented activities including arts and crafts, a climbing wall, wiffle ball, sliding area, batting cage, pitching, claw machine, PS3s, baseball card booth and more. Kids Fun Day on Sunday features even more fun activities including magicians, animal exhibits, robots, and Radio Disney. Adults must be accompanied by a child to enter the Rookie Suite. The Rookie Suite balcony is open and benches have been installed to watch the game. Family restrooms and a breast feeding room are also available in the Rookie Suite.

    Lost and Found
    Fans needing to claim or report lost items during a game should go to the Fan Services Booth at Section 153 of the Main Concourse or Section 550 of the Upper Concourse. Items found by Game Day Staff should be taken to one of these locations, along with information about where the item was found and the date and time it was found. Fans with an inquiry regarding lost items at previous games can call the Fan Services Department at 216-420-HITS. Items are stored for 30 days and then donated to an appropriate charity.

    Lost Children or Companions
    In the event you become separated from your child or a member of your party, please contact a Cleveland Police Officer, gameday staff member, or go to Fan Services for assistance. Our staff is in constant contact with Ballpark security and will assist you in finding the lost child or companion.
    Young children attending Indians games may obtain a free ID wristband personalized with their seat location, enabling Fan Services Representatives to return lost children. Wristbands are available at Fan Services Booths and Concierge Desk.

    Market Pavilion / RIDGID Jobsite Bar
    The Market Pavilion is located in center field and is designed to create a market atmosphere and offers fans a place to congregate in an open-air, casual environment. The Market Pavilion offers a variety of food and beverages. The RIDGID Jobsite Bar features a great live view of the game as well as eight flat screen televisions, so you won't miss a play. It is a full service bar complete with beer, wine, liquor, and specialty frozen drinks. The Market Pavilion and RIDGID Jobsite are open to the general public when gates open for fans to view Batting Practice.

    Media Gate
    Located at the east end of Gate A, the Media Gate is strictly for use of credentialed members of the media. The Media Gate opens 5 hours before the start of each game.

    Media Inquiries
    The Cleveland Indians Media Relations Department assists the news media. Game Day Staff who are approached for comment on any issue by the media should direct the inquiry to a member of the Media Relations Department.

    MLB Universal Code of Conduct
    Major League Baseball has developed a Universal Code of Conduct for all Major League Ballparks. The Cleveland Indians are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark experience. Our game day staff will proactively intervene to support and environment where:

    • Obscene or indecent clothing will not detract from the guest experience.
    • Guests will enjoy the baseball experience free from foul/abusive language or obscene gestures.
    • Guests will refrain from displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting.
    • Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
    • Guests will show their ticket when requested and sit in only their ticketed seat.
    • The process of the game will not be disrupted by the guests' actions or unauthorized persons on the playing field.

    Parking for Buses
    Buses can load and unload on Ontario Street outside Progressive Field. Ontario Street northbound has an extended right lane directly in front of the Cleveland Indians Executive Offices and the Progressive Field Team Shop. That zone is a drop off and pick up zone only. Bus parking on Sumner Court is available through the Cleveland Indians Ticket Office.

    Parking Garage
    The Gateway East Parking Garage is located between Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena. Enter off Huron Road, Eagle Avenue off Ontario Street, or Bolivar Road off East 9th Street. Standard Parking operates the garage. Questions concerning the policies of Gateway East Garage please contact the Garage office at 216.781.1682. Parking spaces for guests with disabilities are available on a first come, first served basis.

    Party Suites
    The Cleveland Indians offer 7 Suites for fans' entertainment needs. They are available for groups of 20-60 people. Rental price includes tickets, food and beverages. Interested persons should contact the Cleveland Indians Group Sales Department at 216.420.HITS. The party suites include 1994, 1997, 1948, Legends, Champions, and FanCave.

    Persons with Disabilities
    Progressive Field has complied with the rules and regulations of the American Disabilities Act. The Cleveland Indians work closely with the Cuyahoga County Commissioners Advisory Committee on Persons with Disabilities, making progressive Field more accessible. Seating, rest rooms, telephones, concessions stands, and drinking fountains have been planned to provide comfortable access to all.

    Phones (Courtesy)
    Courtesy phones are located at Terrace Club Third Level, Terrace Club Forth Level, Time Warner Club Lounge, and Sections 113, 149, 171, 504, 550 and 553. These phones only place calls to the 216, 330, and 440 area codes.
    Additional courtesy telephones that can accommodate regular telephone service as well as TTY telephone service are located next to the Carnegie elevator lobby on the Main Concourse near Section 149 and at Fan Services near Section 550.

    Player Appearances
    Fans interested in having an Indians player make an appearance at an event should send a request in writing, including which player they would like to secure, the date and time of the event, and the budget to:

    Press Box
    The Press Box is located on the 4th level and is restricted to member of the working media. Identifications and credentials are required for admittance.

    Public Transportation
    Progressive Field is only a convenient bus or Rapid Transit ride away. Just take a 5 minute walk through RTA's enclosed walkway (only open during Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena events). The walkway opens no later than 5:30pm for Monday-Friday 7:05pm games and no later than 5pm for Saturday 7:05pm games. For Sunday games at 1:05pm it opens at 11am and will remain open 90 minutes after the game. There are more than 8,000 parking spaces near the Rapid Transit Stations.     Publications
    Batter Up, the official game program of the Cleveland Indians, is available to all fans at all regular season home games. This publication includes Indians and opponent rosters, Fan Service information, concessions guide, and promotion and special event information. It is printed with roster updates and made for every game series. The Indians 2013 Yearbook, Indians Information and Record Book are available at the Cleveland Indians Teams Shops and souvenir concession stands at all regular season home games.

    Radio Broadcasts
    All regular season games and select Spring Training games are broadcast on WTAM 1100AM and on stations throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania on the Cleveland Indians Radio Network. Refer to Pocket Schedule for a complete listing.

    Rainout Policy / Official Game
    The right to start, delay, or terminate a game become the sole responsibility of Umpire-in-Chief after the Managers have exchanged line-up cards at Home Plate. A game is considered a Regulation if 5 innings have been completed or 4 ½ innings have been completed and the Cleveland Indians are winning. If a game is postponed prior to being a regulation game, Fans should hold on to their tickets. Fans will be instructed as to the details of the postponement (e.g. rescheduling, refunds, etc.). Details of the Cleveland Indians Rainout Policy can be obtained at the Fan Services Booth at Section 153 or Section 550.

    Recycling
    The Cleveland Indians have a comprehensive recycling program in place at Progressive field.  Our fans can participate by placing their bottles and cans in one of the 185 bottle shaped and helmet topped recycling containers throughout the ballpark.

    Re-Entry
    Fans needing to exit and re-enter Progressive Field must do so through a dedicated gate at Gate A. Their game ticket or seat locator will be scanned upon exit. To re-enter the Ballpark, fans will enter through the security checkpoint and turnstiles where their ticket or seat locator will be re-scanned. During the games in which a gate giveaway is taking place, fans leaving the exit gate will have their ticket scanned and marked so that they may not receive multiple promotional items.

    Resale of Game Tickets / Scalping
    The resale of game tickets at any price is prohibited in and around Progressive Field. Violators are subject to arrest and prosecution by the Cleveland Police Department. The City of Cleveland has designated two (2) areas in the Gateway neighborhood for the resale of tickets.

    Rest Rooms
    There are 41 Rest Room facilities located throughout the Ballpark, 19 for women and 19 for men, and 3 Unisex / Family Rest Room facilities. Family restrooms are located in each first aid room in Section 119 and Section 553, and in Section 546. All Rest Rooms are accessible to Fans with disabilities, and all have diaper-changing tables.

    Scoreboard Greeting
    A unique way for Fans to send a birthday or anniversary greeting is the Ballpark Greeting Card. They will see their name in light on the scoreboard video screen. Additionally, the Fans will be sent a 5"x7" photo commemorating the occasion. For information, contact the Indians Fans Services Department at 216.410.HITS or visit Indians.com/Scoreboard.

    Seat Numbering System
    Looking at a particular section of seats from the top of the section, seats are numbered highest to lowest from left to right.

    Slider Slider is the Indians team mascot and very visible to fans as he roams the stands during home games. Fans may invite Slider and / or the Hot Dogs to perform at private or corporate special events. Call 216.420.4435.

    Solar Pavilion
    The Cleveland Indians have a 42 panel, 8.4 kWh Solar Pavilion in section 541. The Solar Pavilion produces enough electricity in a year to power an average home.

    Smoking
    In accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio, Fans are not permitted to smoke or use tobacco products anywhere on Progressive Field Property. Electronic Cigarettes, "E-Cigarettes," Vapor Cigarettes, or any device that mimics smoking are also prohibited. Progressive Field is a non-smoking facility. Fans may use the re-entry available at Gate A to smoke outside of the ballpark.

    Speakers Bureau
    Organizations seeking speakers from the Indians should contact the Public Relations Department at 216.420.HITS six (6) weeks prior to the date requested. Our Speakers Bureau consists of front office staff.

    Standing Room Only
    Standing Room Only designated areas at Progressive Field are the Home Run Porch above the Left Field wall, behind Section 303-317, the Market Pavilion, behind Sections 119-148, Sections 170-179, and the East Pedestrian bridge. Fans must stand behind the yellow lines in these areas. Standing Room Only tickets are sold for high demand games.

    Television Broadcasts
    FOX SportsTime Ohio is the television broadcast home of the Cleveland Indians.

    Terrace Club
    The private Terrace Club provides the ideal setting to entertain clients, family, or friends, blending the latest culinary trends with superb personal service. The Terrace Club is a two-level space, with a restaurant and a bar on the first floor. The restaurant provides a fine dining experience with both pregame and game time seating. The Terrace Club features an upscale Chef's Selection Buffet and a la cart menu at both seatings. The bar area offers first come, first-served seating and casual, upscale bar fare. The second floor is closed to the public on game days and available for private events.

    Go behind the scenes at the Ballpark and visit the batting cages, bullpen, press box, dugout, and Heritage Park. Tours are given from May through September. Tickets are available at Indians Team Shop locations, by phone at 216.420.HITS and online at Indians.com. The Indians offer school tours in April, May and September. Ticket prices and tour times are available at Fan Services. Tour program proceeds benefit Cleveland Indians Charities.
