2012 Cleveland Indians Charities High School Hardball Classic

This spring, Progressive Field was the site of the ninth annual Cleveland Indians Charities High School Hardball Classic. The event offered high school athletes a big league experience playing on the same field as their favorite Tribe players. Nearly $20,000 was collected during the classic to benefit the numerous Cleveland Indians Charities educational and recreational programs that serve the youth of Northeast Ohio.

Cleveland Indians Charities (CIC) was established in 1989 to make a positive contribution to the quality of life for Northeast Ohio youth by providing educational and recreational opportunities. Through its various programs, CIC annually impacts nearly 20,000 under-served youth in Cleveland. Since 1989, CIC has donated more than $7.0 million to local organizations that serve the youth of Northeast Ohio.
