LaPorta turns boyhood dream into reality

Indians slugger Matt Laporta turned a failing grade on a high school paper into motivation for him to achieve his goal of making it to the Major Leagues. "If anybody believes in their dream or their goal, nobody has the right to shoot it down," LaPorta said.
