Both my fiance and I are avid Indians fans. We've lived through the pain and agony of game 7 in 1997 and game 6 in 1995. We can't wait for the magic of 2007 and would love to make our wedding at Jacobs Field part of the excitement. We are both school teachers who made opening day our first date and would love to get married at home plate. My brother was engaged at Jacobs Field and getting married at Jacobs Field would make our wedding dreams come true! Thanks for this opportunity.

The reason that my fiance Nicole and I should win an expense paid wedding at Jacobs Field comes down to love. That love is for each other as well as for the game of baseball/softball. First of all, the two of us are inseparable. It has been this way ever since we met. How did we meet? We actually met on the baseball field. Nicole is the Varsiy Assistant Softball coach at Alliance High School and I'm the Varsity Baseball Pitching Coach at Alliance High School. Our players and fellow staff members set us up to run into each other after a big win for both of us. It was a perfect match right off the bat. Both of us enjoy the game of baseball especially the Cleveland Indians. We make an effort to go to all the games that we can possibly make it to, just because we love the atmosphere at the Jake and watching the guys battle for a win. We are starting our lives together as Nicole is graduating in May from Mount Union College and I am starting my teaching career. Nicole is also in the education field, where she is planning on attending Kent State University in the fall where she plans on getting her master's degree in physical education. It just so happens we both will have summers off when we start our careers so we can enjoy baseball and the Indians throughout the season. It would be a true honor to share the best day of our lives together with family and friends at a place we all love... the ballpark. Thank you for your consideration and Go Tribe!

I think that Sharon is such a huge Indians fan that if anyone deserves something like this, she does. We both grew up with families who loved the Tribe and taught us to be big fans. Our Wedding would be full of all Tribe fans. We even told our Pastor about it and he was very excited about the chance to marry us at Jacobs Field. If you want two huge fans to marry - we are them. Go Tribe!
  • Met at church about a year ago
  • Engaged in Heritage Park on Opening Day with a Paver Brick that popped the question
