On Sunday, July 18th, the Cleveland Indians are offering United States Military families and friends as well as those involved with Operation Homefront discounted game tickets.
The Tribe will play host to division rivals - Detroit Tigers with a 1:05 pm first pitch. Upper Box seats can be purchased at $18, a discount from the day of game regular price. This price also includes a donation to Operation Homefront to make a difference in the lives of military families here in Ohio.
Sunday's are Kids Fun Days at Progressive Field. Young fans can enjoy pre-game activities on the Gateway Plaza (green space between the ballpark and arena). All kids attending this game will receive a Webkinz Goldfish. After the game, fans 14 and younger are invited onto the field to run the bases.
Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization founded in 2002, provides emergency assistance and morale to U.S. troops, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home. For more information log onto http://www.operationhomefront.net/ohio.
