Kid Reporter  The Kid's Biography

My name is D.J. Drysdale -- I'm 13 years old -- here to cover All-Star Game stuff for MLB.com. This is a chance of a lifetime -- not a lot of kids get to ever do it. My dad, Don Drysdale, started pitching to me when I was about two, so baseball has always been part of my life. I play on the Huntington Valley All-Star team in California where I am a pitcher and first baseman. I hope to be a baseball player when I grow up. I'll be interviewing players for the site while I'm here and then posting my stories on the web for you to read. I hope you enjoy it!   -- D.J. Drysdale
