Tribe tickets available for the holidays

Opening Day and Six-Pack plans set to go on sale soon

11/13/09 10:00 AM EST

CLEVELAND -- The holiday shopping season begins a little early in the Indians' neck of the woods.

While the day after Thanksgiving is usually the day when the shopping begins in earnest, the Indians are using the Monday before the holiday to make their Opening Day tickets and Six-Pack ticket plans available to fans.

Tickets for the 2010 home opener -- which will take place Monday, April 12, at 3:05 p.m. ET against the Rangers -- and Six-Pack plans will officially go on sale Monday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets online at indians.com.

Fans who purchase four or more Opening Day tickets or a Six-Pack plan on Nov. 23 will receive a free Indians fleece blanket, while supplies last.

Also, for each Opening Day ticket purchased on Nov. 23, fans will receive a voucher to buy an Upper Deck ticket for only $5 for any April or May home game (excluding Opening Day) once all remaining games go on-sale.

The on-sale date for single-game tickets to the entire 81-game home slate is Friday, March 5 at 10 a.m.

This year, the Indians will offer 11 different Six-Pack plans, including two "Fireworks Fanatics" packages, two "Marquee Matchup" plans, two "Collectors Edition" plans, two "Sunday Kids Fun Day" packages and three "Club Seat" packages. All fans who purchase a Six-Pack plan (excluding the Club Seat plan) will receive a bonus seventh game -- one of the four home games against the Yankees on July 26-29 -- for free.

Fans can visit indians.com/sixpacks for complete deals on the ticket packages.
