Indians Open Press Box to Public for The Frozen Diamond Faceoff January 15
The Cleveland Indians today announced seating availability to the public for the first time in Progressive Field’s Press Box to experience The Frozen Diamond Faceoff from a unique and climate controlled area. The Frozen Diamond Faceoff at Progressive Field will feature The Ohio State University Buckeyes and the University of Michigan Wolverines Men’s Ice Hockey teams facing off on Sunday, January 15 beginning at 5:05PM.
PRESS BOX SEATS OPEN TO PUBLIC
Previously reserved for members of the media, the Indians press box will allow fans exclusive access to the enclosed, climate controlled space situated with a great view of the hockey rink for this rivalry game. For $200 per seat, fans can enjoy this unique seating location and all-inclusive buffet and non-alcoholic beverages while watching Ohio State and Michigan heat up the ice on The Frozen Diamond.
Press Box seats for this event, which are VERY LIMITED, are the only indoor option for single-game ticket purchasers. Tickets for this prime location will be available to the public beginning at 10AM on Monday, December 19.

FEW THOUSAND TICKETS RELEASED
In addition to the Press Box availability, the Indians are releasing to the public on Monday, December 19 a few thousand tickets throughout Progressive Field from Ohio State and Michigan team allocations. Fans are encouraged to visit indians.com/snowdays to access the released inventory beginning at 10AM on Monday, December 19.
About The Frozen Diamond Faceoff
The Frozen Diamond Faceoff, featuring the historic Ohio State vs. Michigan rivalry, will be the first hockey game in Progressive Field history and the first-ever outdoor college hockey game in the State of Ohio. The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA)-sanctioned game will be the second of a two-game series between the two schools with the first game being held in Columbus on Friday, January 13, 2012.With Indians Snow Days open Friday, January 13 – Monday, January 16, a fan fest scheduled for Saturday, January 14 and The Frozen Diamond Faceoff on Sunday, January 15, MLK weekend is definitely the weekend to create memories at Indians Snow Days and in the City of Cleveland.
About The Frozen Diamond
A new feature of Indians Snow Days, presented by KeyBank (open now through January 16, 2012), The Frozen Diamond is a regulation-sized (200’ x 85’) ice skating rink on the infield at Progressive Field, covering home plate and stretching down the first base line. The Frozen Diamond will be utilized during Indians Snow Days (subject to availability) culminating with the Frozen Diamond Faceoff.
