2013 Signature Sculpture Series kicks off this month
Ernie Lombardi begins series of Six Reds Legends
The Reds Hall of Fame & Museum's collectible gift program continues in 2013 with the Signature Sculpture Series presented by Dinsmore & Shohl LLP.
There are six collectible sculptures for 2013, all replicas of the statues that stand outside Great American Ball Park, including a replica of the new Joe Morgan Statue which will be dedicated on Sept. 7.
The series kicks off this month with catcher Ernie Lombardi, a member of both the Reds Hall of Fame (Class of 1958) and National Baseball Hall of Fame (Class of 1986.) Lombardi batted .306 over his 17-season career and was the 1938 NL MVP.
The Lombardi sculptures will be available starting this Friday, May 3 at 10 am and are free with full-price admission to the museum on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in May, while supplies last. Only 6,000 are available and a limit of one per paid admission per day.
