The Cleveland Indians struck again at home in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Tuesday night behind a combination of pitching, from Paul Byrd and the bullpen, and a huge fifth inning of scoring, led off by a Casey Blake homer. The Boston Red Sox now need to dial up another huge comeback to stave off elmination. You can relive the music video highlights of the Tribe's 7-3 Game 4 triumph right now while listening to KT Tunstall's "Saving My Face".
With a 3-1 lead in games in the best-of-seven series, the Indians will get an off-day Wednesday before handing the ball to ace C.C. Sabathia to try to clinch the club's first World Series appearance in 10 years with win in front of their Jacobs Field faithful. It won't be easy, however. The Red Sox will turn to their Cy Young favorite, Josh Beckett, who stifled the Tribe in Game 1 at Fenway Park.
Anything can happen in baseball, and the Red Sox should know. They rebounded from a 3-0 ALCS deficit against the Yankees in 2004 and wound up winning their first World Series title in 86 years. But to be the team that meets the Colorado Rockies in this year's Fall Classic, they'll have to hit better than they did against Paul Byrd and the Indians' bullpen on Tuesday.
