Red Sox Fans win Authentic World Series Rings
Red Sox fans from Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts won the Red Sox Foundation's long-running raffle of World Series Rings.
Red Sox players, officials to engage in week-long community efforts
The Red Sox Foundation and the club's Community Relations Department today begin a week of charitable events and programs. The Red Sox play the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees during a homestand that begins tonight and concludes August 3.
Clemens, Garciaparra, Martinez, and Castiglione to be inducted into Red Sox HOF
Roger Clemens, Nomar Garciaparra, Pedro Martinez, and Joe Castiglione will be inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame at a Fenway Park luncheon on Thursday, August 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The inductees will then participate in a pre-game ceremony before the 7:10 p.m. Red Sox-Astros game.

Red Sox Trade RHP Jake Peavy and Cash to San Francisco Giants
The Boston Red Sox today traded right-handed pitcher Jake Peavy and cash considerations to the San Francisco Giants in exchange for a pair of minor league pitchers, left-hander Edwin Escobar, and right-hander Heath Hembree. Both Escobar and Hembree have been optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket.

Fans invited to watch Run to Home Base, try on David Oritz's MVP ring tomorrow
Fans are invited to Fenway Park tomorrow to watch runners cross the finish line at home plate for the 5th annual Run to Home Base, a 9k run that benefits the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Home Base Program, one of the only private sector clinics in the U.S. dedicated to helping Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families heal from the "invisible wounds" of war - post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.

As part of Major League Baseball's Play Sun Smart campaign, the Red Sox will offer free skin cancer screenings to all fans attending the Red Sox-Royals game on Sunday, July 20.
