CLEVELAND, OH --- The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has reduced their spring training roster by five (5) players.

Today the Indians optioned OF BRAD SNYDER to AAA Buffalo and re-assigned the following four (4) players to minor league camp: CA JAVIER HERRERA, LHP SCOTT LEWIS, LHP CHUCK LOFGREN & LHP AARON LAFFY.

Currently there are 52 players in Major League camp in Winter Haven, FL. The Indians play at Tampa today at 1:15 PM ET against the New York Yankees. RHP FAUSTO CARMONA makes his 3rd start of the spring.
