Left-hander Laffey recalled to start

Southpaw earns second look after impressing in earlier stint

KANSAS CITY -- The Indians sent reliever Edward Mujica to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled Aaron Laffey after Friday's 2-1 loss to the Royals. Laffey, 9-0 in his last Minor League 13 appearances, is scheduled to pitch Saturday against Kansas City.

Mujica has been recalled from the Minors four times this season. He is 0-0 with an 8.53 ERA in nine appearances, but pitched well in his last stint.

Recalled on July 27, Mujica allowed three earned runs in five innings and posted scoreless appearances in three of his four games.
