Indians bats look great in late spring
Dellucci and Martinez have multi-RBI days; Sabathia fans six

Wednesday, March 26 Indians at the plate: Asdrubal Cabrera was 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. David Dellucci went 3-for-5 and drove in two. Victor Martinez drove in three runs. Astros at the plate: Miguel Tejada was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Jose Cruz Jr. knocked a two-run double in the fifth. Cruz is hitting .350 for the spring. Indians on the mound: Starter C.C. Sabathia allowed three runs over seven innings, walking none and striking out six. He threw 93 pitches, 64 for strikes. Astros on the mound: Starter Roy Oswalt had a rare subpar outing allowing five runs, one of which was earned. He did not record any strikeouts during his 91-pitch outing. Grapefruit League records: Indians 14-12-3; Astros 12-16-1. Up next for the Indians: The Indians will close out their 16th and final spring season in Winter Haven, Fla., with Thursday's 1:05 p.m. ET game against the Rays. Left-hander Cliff Lee, who won the Tribe's fifth starter job, will oppose right-hander Andy Sonnanstine in the Tribe's last game at Chain of Lakes Park. The Indians need to draw 6,719 fans to the game to surpass their 1999 spring attendance record of 87,292.
Up next for the Astros: The Astros will close out the Florida portion of their spring schedule on Thursday when they play the Blue Jays in Dunedin at 1:05 ET. Right-hander Brandon Backe, the projected No. 2 starter, will take the mound for Houston, while righty Dustin McGowan will start for the Jays.
