The deals do not include invitations to attend Spring Training with the big league team. Rohlinger and De La Torre will report to Minor League camp this spring.
Rohlinger, 28, has appeared in 46 Major League games with the Giants, dating back to the 2008 season. He has experience at third base, shortstop and second base but has spent the bulk of his career at the hot corner.
Last year, Rohlinger split his time between the San Francisco and Colorado organizations, hitting .247 with 10 homers and 51 RBIs in 103 games between tours with Triple-A Fresno (Giants) and Triple-A Colorado Springs (Rockies). He has hit .134 (9-for-67) in his brief big league career.
The 26-year-old De La Torre saw time with the Gulf Coast League Mets, Class A Brooklyn and Triple-A Buffalo during the 2011 season while in New York's system. He went a combined 2-2 with a 0.98 ERA over 22 games, including five starts. De La Torre struck out 29 and walked 16 in 27 1/3 Minor League innings last year.
Across 168 career Minor League games, De La Torre has gone 17-19 with a 2.84 ERA and 277 strikeouts in 265 2/3 innings.
