The Rays reinstated rookie infielder Ryan Brett from the 15-day disabled list on Thursday and optioned him to Triple-A Durham. Brett, 23 years old, got a hit in two of his first three at-bats in the Major Leagues, but he suffered a shoulder injury in April while sliding back to first base on a pickoff attempt.
