Grand way to start for Tribe
Kyle Lohse did make some good pitches, but one pitch in particular -- to Travis Hafner -- led to Monday's loss. Lohse (0-2) gave up five runs on seven hits over six innings. Hafner's grand slam in the third inning proved to be the turning point.

"That's the frustrating part," Lohse said. "When you feel like you threw the ball good and your results are poor."

Travis Hafner's grand slam broke a 0-0 tie in the third while left-handed starter Cliff Lee allowed two runs over six innings.

After blowing three victories last week, the Indians bullpen took over for Lee with a 5-2 lead in the seventh inning. Relievers Jack Cressend, Rafael Betancourt and David Riske held firm to that three-run lead down the stretch.
