Laffey, homers big

Indians 8, Royals 7
Aaron Laffey, facing the Royals for the second time in as many starts, earned the win. (AP)
Grady Sizemore's three-run homer in the fourth and Victor Martinez's two-run shot in the eighth loomed large after the bullpen had its share of struggles following Aaron Laffey, who used five double plays to go seven complete innings -- the Tribe's longest start of '09. Martinez had four hits.
