Bill Hall's debut with the Mariners wasn't a quiet one. Hall, starting in left field, had two hits and drove in two as Seattle backed Luke French in a big way. Josh Wilson and Jose Lopez homered as the Mariners broke it open with a four-run fourth. Russell Branyan homered in the seventh.
