Dodgers 5, Cardinals 3
Matt Kemp (right) and Rafael Furcal celebrate after Kemp's first-inning homer. (Mark J. Terrill/AP)
The Dodgers stranded 16 of an MLB postseason-record 30 combined left on base, but it didn't stop them. After St. Louis scored in the first inning, Matt Kemp blasted a two-run homer in the bottom half of the frame, and Los Angeles didn't trail again. The Dodgers' bullpen allowed one run in 5 1/3 superb innings.
