Capuano, Counsell, Hart, Hoffman and Weeks to provide Milwaukee-area students with an unforgettable day at the ballpark

MILWAUKEE -- Prior to Tuesday evening's game at Miller Park, Brewers players Chris Capuano, Craig Counsell, Corey Hart, Trevor Hoffman and Rickie Weeks will provide everlasting memories to a group of 50 students from Our Next Generation as the Major League Baseball Players Trust's Buses for Baseball program motors into Milwaukee.

Our Next Generation provides quality academic support and life skills programming to hundreds of urban children and youth from pre-K to high school. Since its formation in the early 1990s, Our Next Generation has helped thousands of children benefit from the one-on-one tutoring and guidance provided by its caring and concerned volunteers.

Courtesy of the players' charitable foundation, the children will receive round-trip transportation to the game, meet the players, and receive free tickets, food, beverages and souvenirs.

This season, Buses for Baseball will provide transportation and personal greetings for more than 1,500 underprivileged children attending Major League Baseball games as invited guests of their big league heroes. Buses for Baseball will provide many of the children with their first chance to attend a Major League Baseball game.

The Players Trust enjoys support from the Milwaukee Brewers organization in providing this unique, up close and personal opportunity to share the thrill of Major League Baseball with those less fortunate.
